Dear Legislative Committee members,
The Minnesota Legislature is currently on their spring break. They will return on Monday, April 21 at noon to continue work on the big omnibus bills that will include both budgets and policies that will shape Minnesota’s future. There has been an effort by some to rollback the progress made in the 2023 session. We can’t let that happen! Please read on for details on Thursday’s press conference, our 7th Legislative Forum, and an Earth Day Rally at the State Capitol.

MN State Capitol
Since taking office, the Trump administration poses a multitude of threats to Minnesota’s natural resources.
We won't stand by and watch as our clean air, our 10,000 lakes, our magnificent forests, and the communities that depend on them are sacrificed for profit.
In response, the DFL Environmental Caucus and other local environmental organizations will be rallying at the MN State Capitol on Earth Day. Please join us on Tuesday, April 22nd from 1:30 - 3:30 PM to advocate for Minnesota’s precious natural resources.
This powerful event will bring together advocates for clean water and air, climate solutions, Indigenous rights, public lands protection and more.
This Earth Day, your presence matters now more than ever. The decisions being made today will affect our natural environment for generations to come.
